BIOGRAPHY Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, Tamekia Rochelle Goliday is an energetic attorney with a sincere dedication to her clients. She is a public speaker, mediator and certified guardian ad litem. Tamekia received her B.S. in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Jackson State University in 1996 and earned her J.D. in 1999 from the University of Mississippi School of Law where she was honored with the Augustus Longstreet-Heiskell Scholarship. She also received the Outstanding Student Award in Constitutional Law and served on the Moot Court Board. She was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1999. Early in her career, Tamekia worked as an associate with Turnage Law Office, a personal injury firm, located in Cleveland, Mississippi. On July 18, 2005, Tamekia left Turnage Law Office and opened her own law firm in Jackson, Mississippi where she concentrates her energies on her domestic relations and personal injury practice.
